For those of you who haven’t heard of the Reebook Aztec, the silhouette made its debut way back in 1979. Once you look closely enough at the Aztec, you can tell right away that this model was created in the early days of sneaker history – because of the design and the materials used.
Staying true to form, the shoes take it back to ’79 with a build that boasts a dual density midsole, replaceable rubber carbon heel and speed lacing system as well.
The 1979 classic come back will be in its OG (original) colorway – blue on the majority of the upper with vibrand red and yellow – serving as a nice contrast.
The Reebok Aztec OG comes complete with a nifty little picture book detailing their rich history as a running shoe and special edition packaging that features a photo in the box’s lid.
The sneakers will be released on 22th of August in United States, Russia, South Korea and Japan, at select Reebok retailers. To mention a few: Reebok Classic Store Harajuku, atmos, BEAMS, BILLY’S ENT Shibuya, HEAD PORTER, JOURNAL STANDARD, KICKS LAB, mita sneakers, Styles, UNDEFEATED TOKYO, UNITED ARROWS, UPTOWN Deluxe, X -girl Harajuku.
