adidas Consortium EQT – a range which first launched in 1991 – might have received less attention of late thanks to show-stealers like the NMD, but the innovative new EQT ADV SUPPORT 910 is about to change that. To celebrate the new silhouette, adidas teamed up with three OGs of the sneaker community to delve into the EQT’s 25-year history – have a look at the video below.
The new model draws on the original EQT design philosophy and DNA – however, the EQT ADV SUPPORT 910 begins a new chapter suited to contemporary requirements. The limited edition EQT utilizes technologies such as Kevlar threaded seams and coated side panels, Dyneema upper and laces, and features the trefoil logo for the first time. It also has contrasting matt black and white outsole with powder finished stripes, plus an EQT ADV 91-16 logo on the tongue and insole that commemorates 1991, the inaugural year, placing the release in sneaker history.
Ten global Consortium partners will each drop 91 pairs on June 25 priced at $170 USD.
