Adidas has previewed and teased its 3D-printed runner called Futurecraft a lot this year. The unique shoe it’s been gifted to Olympic athletes, as well as being used within the so-called SPEEDFACTORY.
Today, the Brand with the Three Stripes announced — via its New York-tailored Instagram — that the same 3D-printed shoes from the Olympics will be available to purchase for the first time through a limited edition release. Avoiding any gluing or stitching processes, the silhouette named “3D Runner” features a PRIMEKNIT upper and a controversial 3D-printed midsole and heel cup.
This amazing release come with a price tag of $333 and will be available via the adidas Confirmed App on December 12 — you can sign up today. The New York reservations are opening tomorrow, December 13.
Tokyo and London will see a release on December 15 via adidas.com.
