Emerging right at the beginning of the year — for the wow effect — or just to get a head start on the competition, the Dutch brand comes with the preview of their upcoming Fall/Winter 2017 collection.
The inspiration behind the project comes from the ingenuity of the Mongolian tribes, from their ability to constantly adapt and thrive while moving around and about in an unforgiving environment.
Whilst the new sole units have been developed in-house, the colorways are inspired from the palettes of the Tsaatan tribe textiles. The laser patterns and cut-outs are taken from their visual lexicon.
Also, a premiere for Filing Pieces is the division of its styles into several segments: Basic, Youth, Luxury, Contemporary, Minimal and Women’s, thus showing the desire to address a wider audience.
