Well, the team behind Sneakers Magazine did it again. Issue 31 is out now and has great stories to tell – see some of the highlights below!
EAR TO THE STREET – TILL JAGLA INTERVIEW
He’s a collector, Instagrammer, Global Director at adidas Originals and has his ear on the street. In the 8-page Sneakers Mag interview, Till speaks about his passion, his inspirations and how he ended up being the pacemaker he is now.
VERTICAL HORIZON SHOOTING
This shooting is a change in perspective. Shifting gravity from the ground to the wall, these are the first on feet shots ever to take place on the outside of high-rise buildings, giant pillars or vertical parts of bridges. It took high platforms to achieve this rare effect, which we can see on 16 pages.
THE ART OF SEATING
Just like sneakers, chairs are design objects that are in use everyday – we sit on them just like we walk in our shoes. This shooting with Leonie and Letizia brings the two together in a special way on 10 pages for the July issue.
THE PHOTOGRAPHY OF BRIAN WILLETTE
While detailed sneakershots are no rarity in the sneaker community, Chicago native Brian Willette likes to give some more context to his pictures. His beautiful cityscapes and moody shots, which cover 10 pages in this issue, are pure magic.
A RARE BREED – THE HISTORY OF THE ADIDAS GAZELLE
One of the most important shoes from the Three Stripes, this suede icon has never been as much in the limelight as the Stan Smith or Superstar. Yet with its 50th anniversary around the corner and 2016 releases lining up, we’re taking a look back.
